Lessons

What I offer is simple: quality, engaging and fun lessons that guide you to  master Cantonese Chinese. You can choose from One-to-One and/or Group classes.  You can also choose from a variety of study modes: In-person or Online or a Mix of both.     Although the majority of my students reside in London and Home Counties in the UK, in-person catch-up lessons outside of London can be arranged with students residing in other parts of the UK and continental Europe, such as Sweden, Norway and Germany. Students from the USA and rest of the world are also warmly welcome!  

One-to-One Lessons (In-person or Online or Mixed) – Spring 2026 Special Discounted rate shown below

 

  • Adult Lessons

Standard Lesson (from 50 minutes) – from £38.50 (roughly £1 = NOR 10 / SEK10; €1)

  • Study mode: Face-to-face, online or a mix of both
  • Spoken Cantonese and/or Reading & Writing Chinese programmes using Ken’s System Syllabus
  • If you choose to have Face-to-face lessons, they can be held at a venue of your choice (depending on the venue(s), travel expenses may apply) or at the British Library (NW1 2DB) (no additional charge for travel) 
  • Textbooks and learning materials are included in the charge. Postage will be charged if these are posted.

Mini Lesson (from 25 to 49 minutes) – from £20.75 (roughly £1 = NOR 10 / SEK10; €1)

  • Same as the above
 

  • Children (3+ years of age) and Adolescent Lessons
